Live today gold price in Nepal and silver rate in Nepali rupees — per तोला (11.664 g), per १० ग्राम and per gram — with reference to the daily fixing published by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDa). Every price shows the rise or fall against yesterday's rate so you can see the day's movement at a glance in both rupees and percent.
Rates on this page cover छापावाल सुन (hallmark gold) — the 24-karat trade rate that Kathmandu's Nepa: Rajdhani and other bullion dealers quote every morning — and असली चाँदी (fine silver). If you are buying jewellery, expect the shop bill to be higher: gold jewellery in Nepal is usually 22-karat, and the invoice adds मेकिङ / ज्याला (making charges) and 13% VAT on top of the FeNeGoSiDa rate.
(Chhapawal / Hallmark Gold) is 24-karat pure gold with the government hallmark stamp. This is the rate every FeNeGoSiDa member shop across Nepal follows and it is the number quoted on TV and in Kantipur, Nagarik and Setopati every morning. तेजाबी सुन (Tejabi) — old-grade high-purity gold — sits a few hundred rupees below hallmark and is not shown here because it is being phased out.
असली चाँदी (Fine Silver) means 99.9% pure silver bar/wire — the raw material for jewellery, sagun coins, thali sets and dakshina. Ornament silver (गहना चाँदी) is 92.5% pure sterling and sells slightly lower.
The FeNeGoSiDa daily fixing is derived from the international spot price quoted on London (LBMA) and COMEX, converted using the day's USD/NPR exchange rate published by the Nepal Rastra Bank, plus import duty, refining margin and local demand. Three moving pieces means the rupee price can climb or fall by several hundred rupees per तोला in a single day — the up/down chip on this page tells you exactly how much has moved since yesterday.
1. The top two cards show today's hallmark gold and fine silver rate per तोला, per १० ग्राम and per gram, with yesterday's rate for comparison.
2. The green ▲ / red ▼ chip tells you whether the rate is up or down vs. yesterday and by exactly how many rupees and percent.
3. Use the quantity calculator below the cards to price any amount — e.g. 2 तोला gold or 500 g silver.
4. Bookmark this page and check every morning — the rate refreshes automatically each time you open it.

The live price is shown in the "छापावाल सुन" card above, with reference to the daily fixing published by FeNeGoSiDa. Today's rate applies across every FeNeGoSiDa member shop in Nepal for 24-karat hallmark gold.
No. १ तोला = 11.664 gram in Nepal (and India). १० ग्राम is a separate international-style quote — this page shows both so you can compare with rates in India, Dubai or on Bloomberg.
The FeNeGoSiDa rate is the raw metal price only. On a finished ornament the shop adds मेकिङ / ज्याला (making charges) — usually 8–20% depending on the design — plus 13% VAT. Bullion coins and biscuits carry a smaller premium.
छापावाल (Chhapawal / Hallmark) is government-hallmarked 24-karat gold — the standard trade grade quoted daily. तेजाबी is the older acid-tested grade that traded a few hundred rupees below hallmark and is now largely phased out in favour of BIS-style hallmarking.
FeNeGoSiDa's rate committee meets each morning and fixes the day's rate based on the previous night's international spot price (LBMA/COMEX), the USD-to-NPR exchange rate and local supply-demand. The same rate then applies at every member shop nationwide.
Prices are shown with reference to the daily fixing published by FeNeGoSiDa — the same reference news portals like OnlineKhabar and Nagarik use. The page updates whenever a new fixing is published.
