Many offices, printing presses and desktop publishing software in Nepal still use the Preeti font for official documents, pamphlets and newspaper layouts. If you have Nepali text typed in Unicode — for example from a website, email or social media — this tool converts it into Preeti so you can use it in Photoshop, InDesign, PageMaker, Microsoft Word and other applications where the Preeti font is required.
If you want to convert in the other direction, use our main Preeti to Unicode converter. You can also type Nepali directly using our English to Nepali typing tool.
Type or paste your Nepali Unicode text in the first box above. The Preeti version is generated automatically in the second box. Click the Copy button and paste the result into any application where the Preeti font is installed. The text will look like random English letters until you apply the Preeti font — that is normal, because Preeti stores Nepali letters on English keyboard positions.
